Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers via online web chat to provide information on products, services, and promotions offered by Shoprite Holdings. 2. Assist customers with placing orders, resolving product or service issues, and processing returns or refunds. 3. Utilize critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. 4. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while interacting with customers online. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless online shopping experience for customers. 6. Stay up to date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 7. Work towards meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction metrics and goals set by management. 8. Assist with other administrative tasks related to online customer service as needed.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or online chat support roles. 2. Confident and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. 3. Strong creativity and critical thinking skills to solve customer inquiries effectively. 4. Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail. 5. Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment. 6. Proficient in using online chat platforms and customer service software. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends. 9. Prior experience in the retail industry is a plus.
