Online Web Chat Associate

Job Description:

Gold Fields, a leading mining company located in Soweto, Gauteng, is seeking a part-time Online Web Chat Associate to join our team at the Associate Level. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in customer service or online chat support.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance via online chat platforms. 2. Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively, providing accurate information and solutions. 3. Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. 4. Utilize project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 5. Assist with people management by supporting and mentoring junior associates. 6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent communication and a positive customer experience.

Requirements: 1. Resourceful and independent with the ability to work autonomously. 2. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 3. Excellent people management skills with the ability to mentor and support junior associates. 4. Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or online chat support. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 6. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
