Online Web Chat Associate

Job Description:

MTN South Africa is seeking a reliable and confident Online Web Chat Associate to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As an Associate Level position, the Online Web Chat Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through online chat support on our website.

Responsibilities:

- Engage with customers through online chat to provide assistance, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. - Use critical thinking and analysis skills to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions. - Maintain a thorough understanding of MTN's products and services to effectively assist customers. - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor for resolution. - Document all customer interactions accurately and efficiently. - Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve the overall customer experience. - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve performance.

Requirements:

- 2 years of experience in a customer service or online chat support role. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively. - Leadership skills to take charge of customer interactions and provide exceptional service. - Analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide solutions. - Proficiency in using online chat platforms and customer service software. - Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field preferred.
