Job Description - Online Web Chat Manager

Job Description:


Standard Bank Group in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA is seeking a part-time Online Web Chat Manager to join our team. We are looking for a confident and reliable individual with at least 7 years of experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our online web chat platform, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless user experience. This is a mid-to-senior level position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.


Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of the online web chat platform, including monitoring chat logs, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely manner - Train and supervise a team of online chat agents, providing guidance and support as needed - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer engagement and satisfaction through the online chat channel - Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the web chat platform and make recommendations for improvements - Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the online chat platform aligns with the overall business strategy - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in online customer service and chat technology


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field - 7+ years of experience in online chat management or customer service - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience with online chat platforms and customer relationship management systems
