Job Description:
The Support Manager at MTN Group in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA is a crucial role responsible for overseeing and managing the support team in providing exceptional customer service and technical assistance. The Support Manager will work closely with the customer support team to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer issues and inquiries. This position requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the support team to ensure high performance and productivity - Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline support operations - Handle escalated customer issues and provide solutions in a timely manner - Train and onboard new support team members - Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify areas of improvement - Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and improve overall customer experience - Provide regular feedback and coaching to support team members - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer support
Requirements: - 8 years of experience in customer support or a related field - Energetic and resourceful personality traits - Strong communication and leadership skills - Creativity and problem-solving abilities - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred - Proven track record of successfully managing a support team - Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
