Job Description - Support Manager

Job Description:


Nedbank Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Support Manager to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the support operations within the company and providing strategic direction to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of support services.


Responsibilities: - Manage and lead a team of support staff to ensure timely and efficient resolution of customer issues and queries - Develop and implement support strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention - Monitor support metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and optimize resource allocation - Provide training and guidance to support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge - Act as a point of contact for escalated customer issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals - Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve support services


Requirements: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in a support or customer service role - Energetic and reliable personality traits - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues worldwide - Proven track record of managing and leading a support team - Experience in developing and implementing support strategies - Persuasion and cooperation soft skills - Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
