Job Description:
Capitec Bank is seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Manager to join our dynamic team in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the support operations within the bank, ensuring efficient and effective customer service delivery.
Responsibilities: - Manage a team of support staff to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries and concerns - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention rates - Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions - Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues and provide feedback on product and service improvements - Develop and maintain training programs for support staff to ensure ongoing skill development and knowledge enhancement - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer support to continuously improve the quality of service provided - Handle escalated customer issues and complaints in a professional and efficient manner - Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new support staff as needed - Maintain a positive and productive working environment for the support team
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field - Minimum of 7 years of experience in a customer support or service role - Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and adapt to changing situations - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software - Adaptable and resourceful personality traits - Creativity and adaptability as soft skills
