Job Description:
As a Remote Support Officer at Nedbank Group, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective support to clients remotely. Your primary duties will include handling customer inquiries, resolving technical issues, and providing guidance on banking products and services.
Responsibilities: 1. Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Providing technical support for online banking platforms and mobile applications. 3. Assisting customers with account access issues, password resets, and other account-related tasks. 4. Identifying and escalating complex issues to the appropriate department. 5. Educating customers on the features and benefits of various banking products and services. 6. Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients. 7. Adhering to company policies and procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality of customer information. 8. Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless customer support processes. 9. Participating in ongoing training and development to stay current on product knowledge and industry trends.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service or technical support role. 3. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues. 4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications. 7. Previous experience in the banking industry is a plus. 8. Must be hardworking, adaptable, and possess strong negotiation and leadership skills.
