Remote Support Specialist

Job Description:

Investec is seeking a Remote Support Specialist to join our team in Soweto, Gauteng. As a part-time Associate Level role, the Remote Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to clients remotely. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities: - Provide remote technical support to clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues - Communicate effectively with clients to understand and resolve their technical problems - Document and track client issues and resolutions - Collaborate with the IT team to escalate complex issues when necessary - Stay current on industry trends and technologies to provide the best support possible - Assist in testing and implementing new software and systems - Ensure timely resolution of client issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in a technical support role - Hardworking and resilient personality traits - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems - Familiarity with remote support tools such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk
