Job Description - Support Specialist

Job Description:


Shoprite Holdings is seeking a motivated and reliable Support Specialist to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA. This is a part-time entry-level position that requires at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing assistance to various departments within the company and ensuring smooth operations.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and document management. 2. Assist with the coordination of meetings, events, and other activities. 3. Respond to inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders. 4. Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes. 5. Maintain a high level of emotional intelligence when dealing with sensitive issues and conflicts. 6. Collaborate with team members to drive strategic initiatives and achieve organizational goals. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes and operations.


Requirements: 1. Motivated and reliable individual with a strong work ethic. 2. Excellent analysis skills and attention to detail. 3. High level of emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex situations. 4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software. 7. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).
