Job Description:

Kumba Iron Ore is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Remote Web Chat Assistant to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. This is a part-time entry-level position with no prior experience required. As a Remote Web Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through online chat support.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers via web chat to answer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support. 2. Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to handle customer complaints and find suitable solutions. 3. Utilize emotional intelligence to empathize with customers and provide personalized assistance. 4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. 6. Leverage data to inform decisions and drive strategic initiatives. 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements: 1. Must be dedicated and driven to deliver exceptional customer service. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 4. Demonstrated negotiation skills and emotional intelligence. 5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. 6. Familiarity with web chat platforms and basic computer skills.
