Remote Web Chat Assistant

Job Description:

Shoprite Holdings is seeking a Remote Web Chat Assistant to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This part-time Associate Level position requires at least 3 years of experience in a customer service or online chat support role. As a Remote Web Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to our online shoppers through web chat platforms.

Responsibilities: - Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues through web chat in a timely and professional manner - Assisting customers with product selection, orders, payments, and other online shopping-related queries - Providing product information, pricing, and availability to customers - Collaborating with other team members to resolve complex customer issues - Maintaining accurate and detailed records of customer interactions - Providing feedback to management on customer trends and issues

Requirements: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Driven and motivated to provide excellent customer service - Strong leadership skills and emotional intelligence - Experience with online chat platforms and customer service software - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills - High school diploma or equivalent required
