Remote Web Chat Manager

Job Description:

Old Mutual is seeking a dedicated Remote Web Chat Manager to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. This part-time position is ideal for individuals with mid-to-senior level experience in web chat management, who are adaptable, energetic, possess strong people management and leadership skills. As a Remote Web Chat Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the web chat team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving key performance metrics.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of remote web chat agents, providing leadership and guidance to ensure team success. 2. Monitor and analyze web chat interactions to ensure customer satisfaction and improve efficiency. 3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize web chat performance and increase customer engagement. 4. Collaborate with other teams to identify and address customer service issues in a timely manner. 5. Train and onboard new web chat agents to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality service. 6. Track and report on key performance indicators to senior management. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in web chat management.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 7 years of experience in web chat management or a related field. 2. Strong leadership and people management skills. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. 5. Highly organized and detail-oriented. 6. A proactive and problem-solving attitude. 7. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
