Remote Web Chat Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Remote Web Chat Officer to join our team at Alexander Forbes. As a part-time Associate Level position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA, the Remote Web Chat Officer will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service through web chat interactions.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and issues via web chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Provide accurate and up-to-date information on products and services. 3. Assist customers with navigating the company website and resolving any technical difficulties they may encounter. 4. Proactively engage customers to promote products and services, utilizing innovative strategies and persuasive communication skills. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience across all communication channels. 6. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions for future reference and analysis. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve performance and efficiency.

Requirements: 1. At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or related role. 2. Strong written communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively. 3. A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a dedication to exceeding customer expectations. 4. Innovative thinking and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances quickly. 5. Persuasive communication skills to influence customer decisions effectively. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 7. Proficiency in using web chat platforms and basic computer skills. 8. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
