Web Chat Manager - Remote Work

As a Web Chat Manager at FirstRand, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's web chat services. This is a part-time, remote work position based in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA, suitable for individuals with 8 years of relevant experience at a mid-to-senior level.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize web chat functionality and customer satisfaction. 2. Monitor and analyze web chat performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement. 3. Manage a team of web chat representatives, providing guidance, training, and support. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate web chat into overall customer service strategy. 5. Handle escalated customer inquiries and ensure timely resolution. 6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in web chat management. 7. Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of web chat operations.

Requirements: 1. 8 years of experience in web chat management or related field. 2. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team and drive results. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Driven and independent, with the ability to work well in a remote setting. 5. Experience with negotiation and people management. 6. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
