Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a confident and reliable Marketing Assistant to join our team at Shoprite Holdings in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As an Entry Level position with 1 year of experience, you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing team in a variety of tasks to help drive our company's success.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote our products and services - Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify trends and opportunities - Support with the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels - Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials - Assist with the organization of events, trade shows, and promotional activities - Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives - Maintain and update marketing databases, mailing lists, and customer information - Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and processing invoices

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software tools - Knowledge of digital marketing techniques and social media platforms - Strong negotiation skills and project management abilities
