Online Marketing Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Online Marketing Assistant to join our team at Shoprite Holdings in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As an Associate Level position, the Online Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the online marketing team in creating and implementing digital marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention. This is a part-time position requiring at least 2 years of experience in digital marketing.

Responsibilities: 1. Assist in developing and implementing online marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and search engines. 2. Monitor and analyze the performance of online marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for optimization. 3. Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and visually appealing content for online marketing efforts. 4. Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to execute online marketing initiatives. 5. Assist in managing online advertising budgets and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. 6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in online marketing to continuously improve campaign performance. 7. Provide support for other digital marketing initiatives as needed.

Requirements: 1. 2 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment. 2. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 3. Excellent people management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 4. Knowledge of online marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and email marketing software. 5. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred. 6. Passion for online marketing and a drive to learn and grow in the field. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
