Communications Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Communications Specialist to join our team at Mondi Group. This is a remote work opportunity based in Pretoria, Gauteng. As a part-time Associate level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in communications or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the brand and drive engagement with internal and external stakeholders - Create compelling content for various platforms including website, social media, press releases, and internal communications - Manage media relations and act as the main point of contact for all media inquiries - Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure success and make data-driven decisions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels - Support senior leadership with communication needs and initiatives

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field - Proven experience in a communications role, with a focus on storytelling and content creation - Strong writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail - Experience with social media management and analytics tools - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Resourceful and able to think creatively to solve communication challenges - Persuasive communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive desired outcomes
