Pr Associate - Remote Work

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated PR Associate to join our team at Woolworths Holdings. This is a part-time, entry-level position that offers the opportunity to work remotely from Durban, KwaZulu Natal, ZA. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in public relations or a related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns 2. Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials 3. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and journalists 4. Monitor and analyze media coverage 5. Coordinate events, press conferences, and other PR activities 6. Assist with crisis communication and reputation management 7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging 8. Track and report on PR metrics and KPIs

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field 2. Strong written and verbal communication skills 3. Attention to detail and ability to multitask 4. Confident and resilient attitude 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
