Pr Associate - Work from home

Job Description:

Bidcorp is seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Associate to join our team on a part-time, work-from-home basis in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As an Associate Level PR professional, you will be responsible for supporting the PR team in developing and implementing strategic communication plans to promote our brand and drive positive media coverage.

Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and executing PR campaigns to promote the company's brand and products/services. - Cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts to secure coverage and interviews. - Write and edit press releases, pitches, and other communication materials. - Monitor and report on media coverage and PR metrics. - Coordinate interviews and media appearances for company spokespeople. - Support the PR team with event planning and execution. - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.

Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in PR or related field. - Confident and dedicated personality traits. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of media relations and PR best practices. - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
