Job Description - Part-time Finance Administrator

A growing artisanal confectionery in Firgrove is seeking a Part-time Finance Administrator to join their team. This on-site role is Monday to Friday, 9am–1pm, perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive. Key responsibilities include invoicing, processing credit notes, cash handling, and general office admin. A background in finance or admin is essential, and Xero experience is a strong advantage. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a thriving, creative business.

Responsibilities

Assist with invoicing and issuing credit notes for customer transactions.
Liaise with the accountant to provide necessary financial documentation and support.
Manage cash handling and reconciliation for the factory shop.
Maintain office supply levels, ensuring a well-stocked environment.
Perform general office administration tasks, including filing and organising paperwork.
Answering and redirecting calls.
Liaising with customers where required.

Requirements

Relevant Qualification
Previous experience in administration or financial roles is required.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in basic accounting principles and invoicing procedures.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time setting.
Knowledge of Xero accounting software is advantageous.
