A boutique London-based creative agency specialising in Social, Video Production, Paid Media Advertising, Influencers, and Strategy is looking for a Part-Time Video Editor to join their team on an initial 3-month contract, working 3 days per week, 7.5 hours per day.
The role will involve editing a variety of raw footage into engaging, polished, social-first video content, ranging from corporate talking-head pieces to visually rich interior design, lifestyle, and brand content.
This role would suit a video editor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in producing clean, engaging edits that are ready to publish. The work is primarily focused on short-form social content, with occasional longer-form pieces and basic motion graphics.
There is potential for the role to extend into a full-time position for the right person.
Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into high-quality, social-first video content across a range of formats, styles, and tones.
Produce primarily short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Edit a variety of content styles, including corporate, talking-head, lifestyle, interiors, and brand content.
Turn around edits quickly while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Create basic motion graphics, including end cards, lower thirds, text animations, and simple animated elements.
Apply colour grading and audio mixing where required to elevate the final edit.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure edits align with brand tone and platform best practice.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines across a 3-day working week.
Organise and prioritise workload independently within a fast-paced, high-volume workflow.
Occasionally work on longer-form video content where required.
Requirements
Proven experience editing video content for social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality short-form social video editing.
Experience working across varied content styles, from corporate and talking-head content to lifestyle, interiors, and visually driven brand content.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standards.
Basic motion graphics skills, including lower thirds, end cards, and simple animated elements.
Working knowledge of colour grading and audio mixing.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve is required.
After Effects experience is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
Ability to work reliably during agreed UK working hours, with flexibility of up to one hour either side.
Flexibility to work different 3-day schedules depending on upcoming content requirements.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced agency or high-volume content environment is advantageous.
