Job Description - Pump Fitter

Perform routine maintenance on various types of pumps, including centrifugal, diaphragm, and submersible pumps, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Diagnose mechanical issues within pump systems using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment.
Replace or repair faulty pump components such as seals, bearings, motors, and impellers to prevent leaks and ensure optimal performance.
Install new pump systems according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
Test and adjust pump systems to meet specific pressure and flow requirements, documenting performance metrics for compliance and quality assurance.
Fabricate and modify parts as needed using welding and machining tools to ensure a perfect fit and function within the pump system.
