Senior FP&A Analyst

The Opportunity

This is significantly more than an analyst role.

You'll become one of the first finance professionals inside the business, working directly alongside the founder to support clients while helping establish the systems, SOPs, and best practices that will shape the firm's future.

Initially, you'll focus on financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and scenario analysis. Over time, you'll take ownership of client accounts, mentor future analysts, and help build the operating playbook for the company.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both analytical work and building processes inside an early-stage business.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  Build sophisticated financial models for growing businesses

  Perform FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning

  
  


• 
  

  Develop custom reports tailored to each client's needs

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze cash flow, profitability, and operational performance

  
  


• 
  

  Create headcount planning and hiring models

  
  


• 
  

  Support founders with strategic financial decision-making

  
  


• 
  

  Utilize AI tools (including Claude for Excel and similar technologies) to improve productivity

  
  


• 
  

  Help develop SOPs, documentation, and internal training materials

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate closely with the AI Engineer to improve finance workflows

  
  


• 
  

  Gradually assume ownership of a portfolio of client relationships

  
  

What We're Looking For

Required

• 
  

  5+ years of FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, or Financial Consulting experience

  
  


• 
  

  Exceptional Excel modeling skills

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with forecasting and scenario analysis

  
  


• 
  

  Experience supporting growing businesses or startups

  
  


• 
  

  Strong business judgment and analytical thinking

  
  


• 
  

  Self-starter who requires minimal oversight

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable working EST business hours

  
  

Preferred

• 
  

  Experience supporting CPG, eCommerce, retail, or consumer brands

  Experience with SaaS businesses

  Experience working inside consulting or fractional CFO firms

  Familiarity with QuickBooks
