Business Development Associate - Remote Work

Telkom SA is currently seeking a motivated and independent Business Development Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a remote position, so the successful candidate can work from anywhere in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA.

As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for expanding our customer base and increasing market share.

Responsibilities: - Prospect and qualify potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, and networking - Conduct research on industry trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities - Develop and present proposals to potential clients - Work closely with the sales team to close deals and meet revenue targets - Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in our CRM system - Collaborate with the marketing team to create collateral and promotional materials - Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and generate leads - Stay up to date on industry best practices and trends to continually improve performance

Requirements: - 1 year of experience in business development or sales - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to work independently - Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions - Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
