Business Development Associate

Job Description:

Sanlam is seeking a part-time Business Development Associate to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA. As an Associate level role, this position requires at least 4 years of experience in business development or a related field. The ideal candidate will be driven, confident, and possess strong planning and innovation skills.

Responsibilities: - Identify and generate new business opportunities in the market - Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients - Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth - Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for expanding the customer base - Assist in the development of marketing materials and presentations - Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company's services - Provide support to the business development team as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field - 4+ years of experience in business development or a similar role - Proven track record of successfully generating new business opportunities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - Previous experience in the financial services industry is a plus
