Job Description:

Sasfin Bank is seeking a motivated and passionate Business Development Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a remote work opportunity based in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA, suitable for individuals with at least 4 years of experience in business development or a related field. As an Associate Level position, the Business Development Associate will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business through strategic planning and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. 2. Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with potential clients. 3. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand industry trends and customer needs. 4. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective strategies for promoting products and services. 5. Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and reports to internal and external stakeholders. 6. Participate in networking events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and generate leads. 7. Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices to continuously improve business development efforts.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role. 3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 6. Passion for business development and a high level of energy to drive results. 7. Experience in strategic planning and goal setting. 8. Knowledge of financial services or banking industry is a plus.
