Online Business Development Associate

Job Description:

Massmart Holdings, a leading retail and wholesale group in South Africa, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Online Business Development Associate to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This part-time position at associate level requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or a related field.

Responsibilities: 1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Massmart's online presence and increase revenue. 2. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive online sales growth and market penetration. 3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize online marketing campaigns and promotions. 5. Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders to drive business growth. 6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to online business development goals. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure Massmart remains competitive in the online marketplace.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 2. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make strategic business decisions. 3. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. 4. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and business development goals. 5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with online sales platforms or e-commerce technologies.
