TAAV will continue to manufacture AAV dbDNA™ both for third-party customers and AskBio’s internal product development pipeline.In 2020 TAAV launched its state-of-the-art facility located in San Sebastian, Spain. The facility is comprised of four suites and additional support labs, that are specifically designed for the manufacture of high quality dbDNA™.The company produces a synthetic DNA, dbDNA™, as an alternative to plasmid DNA for the manufacture of adeno-associated virus (AAV).We view dbDNA™ as a disruptive technology in the DNA market creating a new industry standard for transfection-based AAV production.
