Component Project Manager Defence Discs (F/M/X)

What is the scope of the work?

The person in charge will lead and coordinate activities related to defense projects within the discs area. This role is responsible for ensuring proper planning, tracking, and technical execution of the assigned programs, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include leading the Life Management Plans for the MTR390 and TP400 engines, as well as providing technical support to internal production and the supply chain. This includes validating processes, resolving technical issues, and supporting manufacturing needs as they arise.

The position will also ensure the completion of all required technical deliverables for other military projects. Additionally, the Project Manager will oversee the manufacturing plans for components needed for testing, ensuring that required technologies are developed and that project milestones are met.

This role requires strong coordination skills, a solid understanding of component lifecycle management, and the ability to operate in complex technical environments. The selected candidate will play a key part in maintaining the reliability and performance standards of the area.

 What kind of candidate are we seeking?

• Education: Mechanical Engineer, Aeronautical Engineer or similar.

  • Background as stress analyst. Preferably w/ background on both, Design/Analysis and Manufacturing.

What knowledge will you develop?

• A deeper understanding of rotating components, specifically discs, within military engine architectures.


• Expertise in Life Management Plans (LMPs), including life assessment methodologies, damage mechanisms, and durability criteria


• Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes, validation flows, and supply‑chain readiness for safety‑critical components.
