Operations Coordinator - Oil & Gas - TARRAGONA

At Mar Recruitment, a consultancy specialized in maritime, offshore, and energy sectors, we are currently looking for a Operations Coordinator to join a major Oil & Gas project in Tarragona.

Role Description

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the day\-to\-day coordination of all shorebase logistics activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely execution of material handling, vessel operations, yard and warehouse activities, and interface with offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate quayside loading and offloading operations for supply vessels.
  


• Plan and supervise yard, warehouse, and CCU movements.
  


• Ensure logistics documentation (manifests, delivery tickets, backload records) is correctly prepared.
  


• Maintain accurate inventory and tracking systems (e.g. Kabal / WELS).
  


• Liaise with vessel crews, transport providers, customs, and Client representatives.
  


• Support SIMOPS and on\-call operations (24/7 availability during Active Period).
  

Requirements

• Degree or technical qualification in Logistics, Maritime Operations, or Engineering.
  


• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in shorebase or offshore logistics operations.
  


• Strong understanding of vessel loading, CCU handling, and port operations.
  


• Computer literate and experienced with logistics software systems.
  


• Proven ability to work under pressure in a multi\-vendor environment.
  


• Fluent English; Spanish desirable.
