Temporary Contract - Maternity leave.

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our LOC Engineering, Games-Tech Team. This team is responsible for the development and maintenance of tools, or the in-game technology to allow the localization and internationalization of games to 20 languages or more, working closely with some of the best Game Studios in the industry, like EA Sports, DICE, Bioware, Codemasters, Criterion and so many others.

What are you going to do as a SE here at EA

You will mainly work adapting and customizing game content, mostly user interface, to different languages to provide native experiences for our players worldwide. You will also research and dig in code or assets for the actual cause of an issue.

You will be a part of the Loc Engineering, Games-Tech Team.

The next great Software Engineer also needs:

  • University Degree (BSc) in Software Engineering or equivalent academic background
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • 2+ years of professional experience developing C++/C# games (experience in AAA titles is a big plus)
  • Knowledge of video games development and engines (Good knowledge of at least one of the following: Unreal Engine, Unity)
  • Good knowledge of development environments (Visual Studio)
  • Good Software Engineering skills (OOP, Code Quality, Debugging and Version Control) and programming languages (C++ and C#)
  • Strong debugging skills and fluent in reading complex code
  • Experience in Agile environments is a big plus (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong teamwork spirit.
  • Passion for solving complex and interesting problems
