Head of Accounting

At Robert Walters we are looking for a Head of Accounting to join an International Real Estate company with offices in the city center of Barcelona. If you have at least 6 years of experience managing a team and different entities worlwide this could be your opportunity:Tasks:Supervise the preparations and maintenance of all finance data. Oversee the accuracy and oall financial transactions and reporting, ensuring they meet established accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and monitor internal controlsOversee the consolidation of financial data from all group entities to prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statementsManage a team of around 4 people with a direct report to the CFO. Develop and oversee effective billing and tax compliance procedures to minimise financial risks. Analyse financial trends to provide actionable insights and forecasts that support strategic business decisions. Your ProfileBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Big 4 experience or experience in the sector would be a plus. At least 6 years of experience in accounting, tax management, and financial reporting, preferably in an international setting. Knowledge of IFRS and other accoun ting standards. Fluetncy in English and SpanishProven experience in managing a team and driving process improvements.
