Job Title: Hybrid Tax Accountant/CPA - $70k-$80k + Bonus (Individual, Small Biz)
Location: Hybrid in Toledo, OH
Salary: $70k-$80k Base + Bonus, Benefits, 401k
Requirements: CPA + Taxation w/ Individuals and Small Biz (Ideally Tax Controversy) Based in beautiful Toledo, OH we are a boutique legal practice. We primarily offer services in tax controversy, commercial and residential real estate, and probate. We also do some work in bankruptcy. We have 13 employees and have been in business around 10 years. We are a flat organization with direct access to our owner and leadership, and strongly believe in work life balance. We pride ourselves in treating folks fairly and providing reasonable work hours and accommodations. Due to growth, we are actively hiring a Tax Accountant/CPA with experience in:

• Taxation (individual tax, S Corp, partnerships, adjusted gross income, credits)
• Individual and/or small business tax

Experience with tax controversy is a big plus, but not required.

We have a large book of business for tax controversy, however we don't have the resources to support that business, so we're scaling that department. You will work with one of our Partners (who is also a CPA), and our other CPA to service these accounts. If you have this experience, please apply immediately. What You Will Be Doing

• Prepare and review financial statements

• File tax returns and act as audit representative

• Work with clients as needed
