Record Management Manager

As Manager Records Management, you will be leading, supporting or supervising the following:Assist in creation and managing policies and standards related to Business Information across the business information lifecycle, including data collection, classification, processing, storage, and destruction, in alignment with Sandoz's information classification policy. Guide and support data owners within Technology functions and the business in effectively managing their respective data, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards. Collaborate closely with Legal, regional ISRM and REFS colleagues to track and ensure compliance with records management, data security and privacy rules and regulations. Take charge of maintaining accurate records of data processing operations and proactively identify and address any data integrity issues that may arise. Determine appropriate encryption and certificate requirements based on the sensitivity and risk level of Sandoz's information and the methods of data storage. Assign and communicate retention periods for all data types, providing guidance and support to Data Owners in adhering to relevant SOPs. Develop and implement a comprehensive Data Archiving strategy for systems, coordinating the regular archiving of stored information. Support the migration of data to archival systems, managing access controls and conducting detailed security checks. Ensure the secure disposal of data that is no longer needed, adhering to information security standards and providing the necessary evidence as required. What you'll bring to the role:Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Informatics, Accounting/Auditing, or other related fields. Certification or accreditation in Information Security (CISM, CISA, CISSP etc) is a plusFluent in written and spoken English. At least 5 years of work experience in Records Management, Data Rights Management, Data Classification, and/or Data Privacy in an operational capacityExperience in working in teams across different geographies and timezonesGood understanding of data encryption and data loss preventionOperational experience with Data protection technologiesBroad understanding of data privacy laws and regulations like GDPR, EU Data Protection Directives, GxP requirements, etc. In-depth familiarity with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, etc. Ability to collaborate with management in international corporate environments to drive decisions and communicate effectivelyAbility to communicate technical subjects to both IT and business–centric audiences to build champions and deliver resultsTeam player with ability to build pro-active, co-operative working relationships with peers and key stakeholders based on respect and teamworkWhy Sandoz?
