YOUR MISSIONOverseeing business's strategic vision and leading business decisions to drive the organization mission, vision and values. The duties includecollaborating with the Executive Committee, implementing strategic plans for the organization's development and managing relationships with stakeholders. The Executive Director is a non-voting member of the Executive Committee (President, Treasury and Secretary). With the support of the Management Teamdesigns the Strategic Plan of the organization and its implementation. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSCollaborate with the Executive Committee to identify, create and implement strategic plans to update business objectives**. * Identify, recruit, train and develop a talented team of employees who can lead critical departments* and manage strategic business functions in a pan-European organization* Monitor company operations* and ensure employees and business practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements. * Develop the organizational culture* and promote diversity, equity and inclusion and collaboration throughout the organization. * Develop partnerships* with company stakeholders, shareholders, industry regulators and other relevant parties. * Identify potential risks and opportunities* within the organization and its environment to protect business interests. * Identify potential sources of investment* and organize fundraising efforts. * Represent the company* at social and corporate events in ways that strengthen the brand and communicate the company's message. Requirements:Master Degree in Business AdministrationDegree in biomedical sciences or related field. Scientific backgroundMinimum of 15 years of experience in medical research and educational organizationsMinimum of 10 years of management experience with big and multicultural teams, based on different countriesWorking with Boards in a voluntary, not-for-profit context, and the necessary flexibility to accommodate different working styles and collaborate effectivelyFluent in English, excellent oral and written skills. Financial expertise, budget planning and financial forecastingStrong knowledge of pharma industry standardsDemonstrated vision and strategic leadershipGood management skills and change managementAbility to demonstrate a high level of diplomacy in persuading and influencing a wide variety of people at various levels to achieve results
