Our Field Clinical Specialist Imaging delivers clinical education and operational expertise by providing education and training support within a specific modality or product portfolio to clinical end-users.

Candidates locations : Portugal, Spain (locations close to airport will be beneficial). T ravelling inside Portugal, Spain but also in other EU countries is requested!

How you will make an impact :

• Provide education on all aspects of therapy including imaging, integration and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, software, tools and products required for clinical use including but not limited to intraoperative case coverage and coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs in the Cath Lab
• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on all aspects of technical matters related to products and procedures including imaging through conducting and / or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs on one technology.
• Provide moderately complex intraprocedural imaging support during beating heart studies for therapies
• Analyze, summarize, and present clinical baseline, procedural, and follow-up imaging (e. g. , CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to provide inputs that support new product and procedure development and to support event investigations
• Collaborate with HCPs to develop imaging patient selection criteria and screening protocol
• Train field support team and / or HCPs on cardiac imaging procedures
• Provide on-site cardiac imaging support and guidance during clinical procedures to ensure optimal imaging during the implantation of transcatheter devices (if certified).
• Analyze imaging and / or oversee third party image analysis for patient screening and contribute an opinion to the assessment of potential cases
• Other incidental duties

What you'll need (Required) :

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical device and / or clinical experience (clinical physiology, echocardiography)
• Similar Industry certification (Imaging - TTE - transthoracic echocardiogram) or previous edge to edge therapy experience
• Fluent / Advanced in English communicating at professional level
• Solid knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging
• Ability to work in a team environment, fostering collaboration between inter-departmental teams, HCPs and KOLs
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

What else we look for :

• Solid knowledge of relevant imaging equipment operation (e. g. 2D or 3D TTE / TEE / ICE, CT, MRI, etc. )
• Good imaging analysis software skills (e. g. 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc. )
• Ability to effectively guide and instruct other imaging specialists in clinical settings on effective imaging equipment operation
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e. g. , pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules)
• Take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence / control
