Ardagh Metal Packaging is looking for  Global Project Manager Operational Excellence & Growth

Role overview:

Management of projects related to the definition, deployment and assesment of the iniatives related to Growth and AMPS. Specifically to this, role will be supporting in creating lean standards, audit workbooks, assessing the workbooks, equipment standards, reporting status of the plants in both areas. Note: request for travel up to 50% in next couple of months.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and follow up of the definition of the various projects related with diferent iniciatives of Growth and AMPS. As examples (but not limited):

• Creation of OPEX workbook

• Implementation of OPEX workbook

• Support in audits to state Operational Excellence level of the plants

• Support deploying lean manufacturing and OPEX mentality

• Creation of materials for lean methodology deployment

• Creation tracking systems for the projects

• Follow up of the status in terms of AMPS for the plants

• Support in creation technical standards.

Coaching the teams in the implementation of the diferent initiatives with a very strong focus in operational excellence initiatives as well as technical standards.

Support AMP Global in the identification of opportunities to improve and make the company more competitive.

Close colaboration with different regions to support identifying Best Practices and support for proper comunication of them.

Close collaboration with other functions like IT, CI, Innovation, Production, Quality etc.

High involvement in tracking savings coming from Operational excellence initiatives.

Standardization and harmonization of activities across the Ardagh Metal Beverage locations.

Support benchmarking and workshops exercises by collecting and analyzing data to help identify and implement improvements.

Compliance with the Company Management Systems (e.g. Project, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Regulations).

• Keep up to date on company Management systems and apply them

Compliance with Ardagh business ethics.

• Act according to business ethics

Education & Training:

• Gradu ated engineer.
• Lean/6Sigma certification or equivalent.
• Fluent English.
• MS Office advance and Power BI

Experience :

• Several years’ experience in developing and implementing Lean/6Sigma methodologies.
• International project experience.
• Several years in manufacturing environments (ideally automotive industry)
