Fullstack Software Engineer

As part of a growing team of specialists, you will be part of a team of engineers developing software tools for dental professionals and patients, including dentists, surgeons, and dental technicians. As a back-end software developer, you will be working on a microservices based architecture, using your expertise in Java to design and implement high-quality solutions. You will be part of an agile team that values collaboration and creativity, and you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment for a product-based company. Main Tasks and Responsibilities• As a software developer, you will:• Design and Develop microservices based architectures• Develop and manage databases• Test software to ensure quality, data protection and security• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software• Write technical documentation• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions• Find opportunities for collaboration across international teams, work on cross-team commitments, and achieve scale by enabling the work of others. RequirementsEducation• Higher education in software engineering, computer science or a comparable field (e. g. medical informatics, healthcare electronics), or equivalent work experience. Experience• 10+ years of experience shipping commercial software in a role as back-end software developer using Java with Spring Boot framework• Proficiency on microservices architectures• Experience on code management (Git), releases, code quality• Experience with databases (e. g. Postgres, SQL Server, …)• Experience in React• Professional fluency in EnglishDesirable:• Experience with healthcare softwarePersonal Attributes• Keen to create world class healthcare solutions with an international team• Thorough with strong attention to detail• Interest and ability to understand our full software stack. • Happy to both build on existing work and process, and innovate where necessary. • Curious and humble in understanding customer requirements combined with bold thinking to delivering solutions.
