POSITION PURPOSE Reporting to the Director of Marketing & PR, takes responsibility for the development, delivery and execution of the annual Marketing & PR plan in line with the hotel strategic priorities. 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES 

• Ensure full compliance with all Marriott International standards & programs. 

• Coordinate with stakeholders/agencies to create appropriate content for Digital Marketing Channels. 

• Community Management. Actively engaging with guests by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries trough Social Media Channels (FB, IG, LinkedIn, etc.). Answering any questions or concerns about property facilities/services and recognizing opportunities to up-sell any product to the guest. Specific focus on Guest Satisfaction, Online reputation management and guest engagement, trying to always improve the guest experience. 

• Be responsible for the planning and execution of content creation of all Social Media Channels as well as the briefing to creative agencies (including copywriting, photo/video shootings) ensuring delivery in adherence with brand guidelines and hotel positioning. 

• Cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and content creators to secure media coverage

• Assist in the creation of marketing collateral (With Canva, Indesign, etc.), including brochures, flyers, presentations, and other materials for internal and external communications. 

• Support event planning and execution, including PR events or any other promotional events. 

• Accountable for all updates and content of the Hotels/Outlets website and working collaborating with the Digital Field team to manage updates, text and photography in all segments and channels. 

• Responsible for copywriting for Marketing Channels and Newsletters, in English and Spanish. Email communication (internal and external) 

• Develop and execution of promotional campaigns for F&B, weddings, spa, rooms and conferences through relevant digital and social media channels. 

• Acts as a Brand Champion with the hotel teams. Together with the hotel’s leadership team, drive brand activation and ensure the brand experience comes alive through the hotel messaging and guest experience. 

• Assist in creating purchase orders (POs) for marketing materials, services, and events, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance. 

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

• Professionally represent the hotel in community and industry organizations and events. 

• Provide constructive feedback to all departments, specifically in relation to the repositioning of the Restaurants/Bars and Brand Activation efforts across all departments. 

• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing or Communications. • 2 years experience in FO, reservations, sales, marketing, digital or related professional area; digital advertising agency experience preferred or luxury hospitality expertise preferred. • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English (orally and in writing) German is a plus+ • True Brand Ambassador • Creative, artistic and visionary • Innovative, proactive and resourceful • Passion for the travel, hospitality & luxury industries Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott standards.
