Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in mid-2024. ? ? The resort will have a total of 109 rooms and suites, culinary experiences, including a signature restaurant, a beachfront restaurant and café, and a poolside bar and grill, events space, spa and fitness facilities, direct access to the beach, adult pool access to the beach, adult pool and vitality pool, Kids for All Seasons, and a wine tasting experience in the vineyards. The Role of Events Manager: We currently have an opportunity for a Events Manager to join our pre-opening Four Seasons Hotel Mallorca at Formentor, Spain! Reporting into our Assistant Director of Events, you will be responsible for select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors, and assistant managers in the Hotel’s Conference and Catering Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met, long-range strategic planning for outlet operation. The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts. Coordinate set-up requirements for hotel and off-site functions, communicate directly with group contacts, to ensure that all details of the function are carried out, ensure quality and timeliness of all food items, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience. Requisitos : Previous experience within a similar role is essential. Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting. Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems. Additionally, you will be a passionate and motivated leader with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strategic, analytical, and strong business acumen, an eye for detail, a passion for service, and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities. Previous pre-opening experience is essential. Fluency in Spanish and English is a must for this location, along with eligibility to work in Mallorca.
