We’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our team at The Hoxton, Poblenou!

The Hoxton Poblenou in the city of Barcelona is our 11th Hoxton. The hotel boasts 240 bedrooms of different sizes, a large restaurant Four Corners with The Slice shop and La Bodega, a rooftop pool and our taqueria Tope, a bright and airy lobby, a multi-functional basement events space and The Apartment (our unique meetings & events concept).

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving Corporate, Individuals, Group and M&E business into The Hoxton, Poblenou in Barcelona.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • Achieve sales budget and increase sales by driving more business to all segments of the hotel (rooms, M&E, R&B…).
  • Prepare and execute creative sales strategies to maximise our revenues.
  • Work with our Director of Sales on sales activities.
  • Manage and mentor more junior members of the team.
  • Generate new business through market research.
  • Represent The Hoxton at industry networking events and Sales Trips and organise on-site client entertainment, show rounds and familiarization visits.
  • Work towards personal Corporate, Group and M&E revenue goals and KPOs.
  • Cross-sell The Hoxton and Ennismore properties globally to maximise revenue opportunities.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Barcelona Hotel sales who can make a quick impact in our team.
  • A people person who’s great at growing and nurturing long lasting relationships.
  • Experience using a PMS (i.e. OPERA, DELPHI, etc.) would be an advantage.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish and English, additional languages will be highly valuable.
  • We’re big on enthusiasm and those who get a kick out of working autonomously.
  • People who enjoy working in a place where things move and change quickly.
