Overview: You will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing control programs for automated systems and machinery. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing processes and equipment within the automotive production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop PLC programs to control and automate manufacturing processes.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot PLC code using languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
• Integrate PLC systems with other automation equipment, such as HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), sensors, and actuators.
• Install and configure PLC hardware and software for new and existing production lines.
• Perform system commissioning, including testing and debugging PLC programs to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate PLC systems with machinery.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for PLC-controlled systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of PLC programs, configurations, and changes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in PLC technology and automation systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in PLC programming and automation within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal.
• Strong understanding of electrical diagrams, control schematics, and P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus, and DeviceNet.
