We are seeking a dynamic, self-directed, and experienced individual to join our team as a Trade Show and Event Manager. This role is instrumental in planning, coordinating, and executing successful trade shows, exhibitions, and events to showcase our company and products to a diverse audience by means of creating engaging experiences for attendees. This highly motivated and extremely organized candidate must combine thinking strategically, and a hands-on approach to deliver results. Responsibilities: A. Trade Show Planning and Coordination:

  • Research, evaluate, and select appropriate trade shows and exhibitions to attend based on strategic objectives and target audience.
  • Coordinate all aspects of trade show participation, including booth selection, registration, logistics, and budget management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with trade show organizers, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth execution of events.
B. Event Management:
  • Plan and execute company-sponsored events such as product launches, seminars, and networking receptions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define event goals, themes, and messaging.
  • Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and onsite staffing.
C. Marketing and Promotion. Work closely with the marketing team
  • to develop promotional materials, signage, and collateral for trade shows and events.
  • Implement pre-event marketing campaigns to generate excitement and drive attendance.
  • Leverage social media platforms and other channels to amplify event reach and engagement.
D. Budgeting and Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets for trade shows and events, ensuring expenses are within allocated limits.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Track expenses, reconcile invoices, and provide regular financial reports to management.
Post-Event Evaluation:
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of trade shows and events against predefined objectives.
  • Collect feedback from attendees, exhibitors, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze metrics such as attendance, leads generated, and return on investment to inform future event strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in trade show management, event planning, or related roles.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing external supplier/agencies to coordinate a wide range of services, including booth design, space allocation, traditional and digital signage, attendee flows, security, food & beverage, temp staff sourcing and management, transportation, giveaways, etc.
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • Experience with technologies to enhance the experience at the booth is a plus
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in trade sho
