We are one of Europe's leading low-cost airlines, with special relevance in the Spanish domestic market, as well as in France and Italy.  Job Purpose   Oversee the management of Systems and Structures, Transitions, Maintenance Program and Reliability teams, and AMOS administration, ensuring compliance with Part M and Part CAMO regulations, in order to maintain fleet airworthiness, implement safety directives, and optimise maintenance efficiency. Main Accountabilities Oversee the management of the Systems and Structures, Transitions, Maintenance Program and Reliability teams, and AMOS administration. Ensure departmental activities comply with Part M and Part CAMO regulations. Oversee the execution of all maintenance tasks in accordance with M. A. 302 and M. A. 301-3. Manage the policy for mandatory and non-mandatory modifications. Collaborate with the Compliance Monitoring Manager CAMO (RCC CAMO) on regulations, procedures, and corrective actions from Compliance Monitoring audits and inspections. Analyze the effectiveness of the approved maintenance program in line with M. A. 302 (M. A. 301-4). Maintain the system of technical records of continued airworthiness in accordance with Part M and Part CAMO requirements.   Oversee the department budget and manage aircraft lease agreements. Act as a focal point for implementing strategic projects with other airline departments and OpCos of the IAG group. Maintain the Safety Focal Point position. Support insurance claims related to aircraft damages. Foresee and monitor delivery and redelivery costs,  reporting to senior company management. Oversee management and negotiation of aircraft lease agreements. Manage departmental innovation processes. Implement and monitor the reliability program. Organize and manage the team, promoting their development, teamwork and communication, between their collaborators and the rest of the Company. Perform any other responsibility or function that is assigned inherent to the job. Main Responsibilities - Tasks Ensure effective coordination, performance, and integration of technical teams to maintain fleet airworthiness and reliability, adhering to regulatory standards and operational goals. Achieve compliance with European and national regulatory standards to ensure the safety, legality, and efficiency of all maintenance operations. Ensure maintenance activities are executed accurately and punctually to maintain aircraft safety, operational readiness, and regulatory compliance. Implement necessary modifications to improve fleet performance, ensure compliance with safety directives,  and optimize operational efficiency, including cost-savingmeasures. Develop, implement, and monitor corrective measures and new regulations to maintain compliance and enhance maintenance processes, based on audit findings. Evaluate and adjust the maintenance program to improve efficiency, reduce operational disruptions, and ensure continuous airworthiness, based on data analysis and feedback. Ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely record keeping to support regulatory compliance, operational integrity, and smooth transitions of aircraft in and out of the fleet. Control departmental expenditures, negotiate lease terms effectively, and report on financial performance to senior management, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost management. Facilitate strategic initiatives and projects to align with group objectives, enhancing operational synergies and innovation. Address safety concerns promptly, ensuring high safety standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide necessary documentation and evidence to support claims, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Anticipate financial impacts of aircraft transitions, manage costs effectively, and provide detailed reports to inform decision-making. Negotiate lease terms and manage agreements to optimize financial performance and minimize penalties. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the department to enhance operational efficiency and fleet performance. Ensure the reliability program is effectively executed,  analysing data to identify and address recurrent issues,  improving overall fleet reliability. Make the department managed a better place to work. Fulfill the mission of the job if it is in the employee´s hand. Main Relationships Compliance Monitoring Manager CAMO (RCC CAMO): For developing regulations, adopting corrective actions, and maintaining compliance. IAG Committee: For establishing fleet specifications and coordinating strategic projects. Other Airline Departments and OpCos (e. g. , Iberia, British Airways): For implementing strategic projects, sharing best practices, and aligning operational strategies. Insurance Providers: For supporting insurance claims related to aircraft damages. Maintenance Program and Reliability Teams: For coordinating maintenance activities and reliability improvements. Technical Director: For reporting and acting as deputy for regulatory matters. Finance Department: For overseeing the department budget and financial performance. Aircraft Lessors: For managing and negotiating lease agreements and ensuring compliance during aircraft transitions. Manufacturers and Regulatory Authorities: For ensuring compliance with safety directives, airworthiness directives,  and implementing modifications. Operations Planning: For digital maintenance and phase-in and other projects coordination. Safety department : For safety findings and event reporting. Education Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, ssential for understanding the technical and regulatory aspects of the role. Experience   Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical services engineering tasks, necessary to ensure familiarity with the technical and operational demands of the role. 2 years in a previous manager position, required to demonstrate the ability to manage teams and projects effectively. Proven experience in managing technical teams and projects, demonstrates the ability to lead, coordinate, and optimize team performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, required for evaluating maintenanceprograms, addressing technical issues, and implementing improvements.   Good negotiation skills, particularly important for managing lease agreements, ensuring favourable terms, and minimizing penalties during aircraft transitions.   Experience in developing and implementing maintenance programs and reliabilityinitiatives, ensures the ability to maintain fleet airworthiness and improve operationalefficiency. Experience in regulatory compliance, necessary for understanding and applyingrelevant aviation regulations and standards.   Ability to act as deputy for the Technical Director, demonstrates readiness to assum higher responsibilities in regulatory matters when required.
