Job Summary
• This role is responsible for executing a variety of events, including seminars, conferences, and trade shows, while providing administrative support and ensuring adherence to budgets. The role involves planning logistics, communicating with vendors, and leading maintenance of accurate event databases and marketing systems. The role also includes managing social media and email campaigns, leading collection of post-event data, and contributing to projects through research and data analysis, with a focus on fostering a knowledge management culture. Responsibilities
• Executes seminars, conferences, field events, hospitality, limited-scale trade shows or on-line events.
• Provides administrative support including handling inquiries and providing information to attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.
• Ensures adherence to event/project budgets and tracks expenses.
• Plans logistics, coordinates trade shows and events, and prepares event and promotional materials.
• Communicates with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for equipment, services, and materials.
• Leads maintenance of accurate event databases, contact lists, and registration records, and updates marketing management systems as needed.
• Carries out social media updates, email campaigns, and website updates related to in person and online events.
• Leads collection and compilation of post-event data, including attendee feedback and performance metrics, and prepares post-event reports for management evaluation.
• Works independently on moderate scope problems, applying professional expertise, exercising judgment, and resolving various issues by following company policies and procedures. Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in event management, marketing, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience. Preferred Certifications
