Context of the role
In this role, you will focus on building tools, (re)designing processes and leveraging data to make sales teams more productive and effective. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to improve sales processes through improving the productivity in the team. You will be the central contact person for our internal CRM system, and act as a bridge between sales, marketing, product, and support teams. You will have experience in CRM system management, an analytical mindset and be responsible for evolving the area of marketing/sales automation further and oversee the conception, implementation, and optimization of automated B2B campaigns for longtail customers.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Ensure our CRM database consolidates all our customer and opportunity pipeline information and provides reliable insights for the team.
- Build sales automation around the CRM by liaising across support teams to understand business requirements and helping to design a system to support these needs.
- Develop and segment longtail customers in the CRM.
- Execute customer engagement and customer retention programs through the CRM in partnership with regional marketing teams and track/analyze performance of campaigns.
- Create, monitor, and maintain reporting using ZOHO's reporting and dashboard features.
- Work closely with sales teams to develop their lead management process: lead generation, analysis, distribution, and lead management tracking.
- Enable and drive sales team productivity and behavioral disciplinary procedures.
- Map the complete sale processes, document, and maintain their relevancy as the organization evolves.
- Support with the integration of CRM platform with various third-party portals and systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with the CRM and its third-party integrations, and continuously improve the tool and its productive utilization.
- Provide ongoing training for new and existing employees on sales processes and effective utilization of the CRM tool.
Essential Qualifications
- 3 years+ of experience in commercial, operations or marketing role, preferably in a B2B technology, telecom, or digital payments company.
- Prior experience as an administrator of sales CRM software, preferably ZOHO or Salesforce, is a must.
- Experience with data analysis software, preferably Tableau, is a plus.
- Experience with a project management tool, preferably Jira, is a plus.
- Basic understanding of data analysis and modelling.
- Ability to put forward innovative solutions to technical problems.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with keen attention to detail and data.
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and Google-Doc skills.
- Very good English language skills.
- Naturally curious: You are autonomously proficient in exploring information, constantly asking questions, and seeking answers, and corralling resources to curb your curiosity.
- Concise and effective communications: You can articulate and debate ideas and recommendations across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership/executives) and listen to others carefully with respect and an open mind.
- Flexible with high self-discipline: You have the capability to work remotely from your manager and manage your workload and have flexibility to work with teams in different time zones.
