We are looking for a Research Technician to give support into the Innovation in Respiratory Infections and Tuberculosis research group.

Participation in laboratory tasks, especially cell culture and assessment of the impact of external factors in the host-pathogen interactions. Have an active role in the different projects of the research line.

Degree in a health-related discipline
Master studies in Microbiology

EXPERIENCE

Previous participation in national and/or international research consortiums
Proven experience with issues related to microbiology, preferably in assessing the impact of external factors (i.e. tobacco, diesel, micronanoplastics) in the host-pathogen interactions
Experience in tissue and bacterial culture, flow cytometry and confocal microscopy
Experience with data repository management (i.e. REDCap, Castor)

COMPETENCES

Excellent organizational skills
Good knowledge of English
Availability to travel
Flexible attitude towards work and ability to work independently

6 months of a full-time temporal contract (39h/week)
Start date: 1 July
The annual remuneration inherent in the position that is the subject of this call will be set based on the experience provided and the aptitudes of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.
Flexible payment (childminding vouchers).
23 vacation days and 5 days for personal matters + 2 days for Easter + 2 days for Christmas.
Training capsules paid by the company.
