We are looking for a senior technician with an entrepreneurial profile for the research group "Innovation in Respiratory Infections and Tuberculosis", with experience in the field of the health data scientist and software developer
The candidate will carry out the necessary activities for the transfer to the productive sector a technology developed by the research group. In addition, must provide support the activities of a demonstrative nature that are necessary for technical validation of the technology that are in line with the value generation proposal.
Minimum level of studies of master's degree in the field of the biosciences and/or business management (minimum 60 ECTS).
Good level of English language (C2 level).
To have creative skills in innovation and team leadership, as well as being a motivated, enthusiastic, committed and with communication skills. The candidate has to identify the project as an opportunity for professional development in the field of innovation and the transfer of knowledge.
To have knowledge about business incubation or acceleration programs and knowledge on Ethics, Regulation and Privacy, will be also positively valued.
Experience in non-academic sector. Experience working in non-academic sector (start-ups or the deep tech sector will be also positively valued.
Knowledge in application of metabolomics on health research will be positively valued.
Experience in NMR-based metabolomics and biomarker discovery will be positively valued, particularly in the context of clinical research or translational health data analysis.
Experience in the application of machine learning, deep learning (including convolutional neural networks) to biomedical data, particularly for clinical diagnostics, predictive modelling, and metabolomic analysis, will be positively valued.
It will be positively valued if the entrepreneurial person has previous knowledge about health data analysis and software development, and experience in programming (Phyton, R, Matlab, and C) and software engineering (Full-stack development, API integration, Docker containers and Workflow automation.
Indefinite contract (Indefinido por actividades científico-técnicas 14/2011)
Incorporation: 1st of August 2025.
Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.
Flexible payment (childminding vouchers).
23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters + 2 days for Easter + 2 days for Christmas.
