Why this role exists

Spain is our home market, and it's where most of our 500+ clients run their unattended businesses. With a fresh €6M round behind us and a team that has more than doubled this year, we're turning up the volume on SMB growth — and we need someone who can take a steady flow of qualified demand and turn it into signed, live customers.

Reporting to our Sales Team Lead, you'll own deals from first call to close. Most of your week goes into working sales-qualified leads; the rest goes into building your own pipeline and shaping how we sell to Spanish SMBs. You'll also be one of our sharpest sources of market truth — what operators need, what competitors offer, and where we should go next.

What you'll actually do

• Run sales-qualified leads through the full cycle — discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, close — this is where most of your time goes
• Deliver tailored demos that show SMB operators exactly how Frekuent cuts friction and brings their customers back
• Build your own pipeline in the Spanish SMB segment through targeted prospecting and strategic initiatives — a smaller, secondary part of the role
• Guide deals through the practical steps that come after "yes" — KYC, installation and setup — alongside Ops and Account Management so new clients go live smoothly
• Keep your pipeline, forecast and activity accurate in the CRM, so the team can plan on real numbers
• Hit or beat your monthly and quarterly targets, and learn from every win and loss along the way
• Act as our eyes on the market: bring customer feedback, competitor moves and new opportunities back to Product, Marketing and Leadership
• Work with Marketing on messaging and campaigns that improve lead quality and conversion

What you bring

• 3–5 years in B2B sales, business development or SaaS sales, with full-cycle closing experience
• A track record of hitting or exceeding quota
• Confident negotiation and closing skills with SMB owners and decision-makers
• Organized, structured and hands-on — you manage a busy pipeline without dropping follow-ups
• Clear, warm communication and a knack for building lasting client relationships
• Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Ops and Tech to get deals over the line
• Fluent Spanish and at least intermediate English, written and spoken
• Availability to travel sporadically within Spain

Bonus points if you...

• Have sold products with a more complex funnel — KYC, hardware installation or product customization
• Have sold payments, fintech, vending or retail-tech solutions to SMBs
• Have worked in Zoho CRM (or HubSpot, Salesforce or similar)
• Come from a fast-growing startup or scale-up
• Use AI tools day-to-day to research accounts, prep calls or speed up outreach
• Speak French, Italian or Portuguese
